Terms of use

These terms apply to the CVShot and IDShot apps and the service behind them, provided by OID4Pay B.V. (KvK 42074824, the Netherlands; "we"). Contact: [email protected].

Who can use the service

You must be 18 or older.

The service

You upload a selfie and we create an edited photo with generative AI: a professional headshot (CVShot) or a photo formatted for an official document (IDShot). Each photo uses one credit. New accounts get a number of free credits.

Paid credits

• You can buy credit packs in the app through Google Play. The price is shown in Google Play before you buy, and Google Play handles the payment.
• One credit is used each time you start a photo. If the photo fails (for example the image cannot be processed, the AI refuses it, the service is busy or interrupted), the credit is returned to your balance automatically. A photo that was created successfully is not refunded as credit.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
• Refunds of money follow Google Play's refund policy; ask Google Play. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we remove the credits it gave, as far as they have not been used.
• Right of withdrawal: credits are digital content delivered immediately. When you buy, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose the 14-day EU right of withdrawal.

Your responsibilities

• Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has given you permission.
• The result is created by AI. Check that it looks like you before you use it, especially for an official document. If a result is offensive or wrong, you can report it in the app.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful or to deceive authorities.

Document photos

IDShot sizes photos to the published requirements of the chosen document. The issuing authority decides whether to accept a photo; we cannot guarantee acceptance.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time; see how to delete your account. Unused credits are lost when you delete your account.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent Dutch court, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rule that gives you the right to bring a claim in your own place of residence instead.
